İmdat Avşar, The Unnoted but Gifted Writer of Steppe (Task 1b)

He was born in 1967 in Kaman/Kırşehir. He received his education of primary school and middle school in Kaman. When he graduated from Kırşehir trainig college in 1989, he started to be teacher. He taugt in Malatya and Erzurum for a while. Between 1993-1997 he graduated from İnönü university, Faculty of Training, department of management and controllership of trainig. He postgraduated from social science instituon of Fırat university. Avşar that started to doctorate in the same university, unfortunately he couldn't continue doctorate. In 1999 he was appointed to Iğdır as primary school supervisor and he is working as a supervisor in Kayseri. his poems and stories were publishes in magazines such as Kardeş Kalemler, Sancaktar, Gökbayrak, Bizim Külliye, Berceste, Şehriyar, Kardeşlik(Kirkuk), Bayrak (Baghdad), Ulduz(Azerbaijan), Kırgız Adabıyatı( Kyrgyzstan),Juldız (Kazakstan). His poems and stories in Kardeş Kalemler translated into Kazakh,Kirghiz,Turkoman,Tatar of Kyrm and Turkish of Azerbaijan. These translation of Avşar who has made translation from Turkish of Azerbaijan, Kirghiz, Turkoman have been still published in Kardeş Kalemler which is common literature platform of Turkish World.

He has translated "Kerem Gibi" by Anar, the important author of Literature of Azerbaijan, and "Baladaş'ın ilk Mehebbeti" by Elçin Efendiyev.He prepared an anthology "Geçmişten Günümüze Azerbaycan Hikayeleri". He made arrangements on piece that came in degree in International Kaşgarlı Mahmut Story Competition in which he was a member of jury. This book was published by name "1000 Yılda 1000 Hikaye" by TİKA.

He offered proclamation by attending lots of international acivities such as Platform of C.Aytmatov in his 80. year, 15. ve 16. Hazar Şiir Akşamları, Türk Dünyası Edebiyat Dergileri Kurultayı, Türk Lehçeleri Arasındaki Çeviri Sorunları Sempozyumu. Avşar who is a member of Writer Union of Eurasia and Writer Union of Young Turkish of World , has served in writing council of Kardeş Kalemler.

İmdat Avşar received championship award with his story "Şehnaz Hanım Koleji" in 2009 in N.Abbas Sayar Story Competition which arranged by Ministry of Culture and Governorship of Yozgat.

He is very passionate and hardworking person. He is one of the important connections between Turkey and the other nation which has Turkısh roots. He will be very successive author among us, I believe and I want to introduce him to you. I advise you to read any books of him.

                  I am Tuğçe AVŞAR, 32. I graduated from METU English Language Teaching Department and Hacettepe University Translation and Interpreting Department. I made master on English and sub-branch on psyhology. I know 6 language: Spanian, German, Russian, Danish, Korean and of course English.I have worked as a translator recently but beforehand I worked as adviser and English teacher at High Schools.I enjoyed so much when students were in my around. Listening them and guidining them were the most honourable thing for me.  I have translate two books and I love this job more. Because reading orijinal book of the writer and translating into your own language need very concentration and information. Translating takes me far away. I've lived in Norway for 4 years and my home has a huge garden with amazing view, my bureau and my coffee store. These help me stay the far away. I am interested in reading and writing books, script, poems,essay etc. Now, I have a scenario for being filmed and in addition to I am trying to write novel on my own. I love swimming, taking photo, hiking, cooking,listening music and playing guitar and reed. At weekend I and friend of mine take a stage in our cafe. When wheather is warm we always meet and do joyful things like picnic. I am happy about my life I've come true my dreams but somebody what I need. There is no time for my love life by now. So I hope I'll encounter good guy in this site and we can be happy as my friends and I wish...

Revenge of a baby

               

               I am a baby. approximetly three months ago in our garden while I played my games myself, chicks attacked me. My leg, my arm, ohh my poor fingers hurted so much. Altough I cried loudly, everyone laughed at me and record me on video. I sweard to revenge then. I called my friend without aware of my mother and catched chicks, imprisoned them until they grew up and when they laid we ate their egg in front of them. Then my 2 years old friend Jackie said that "why did'nt we sell them ?" After we answered "yeah, great idea" , we make a huge profit. Yes, I know I am the bad guy but anyway I have money now. Hahahahaha chicks, you shouldn't have teasen the wrong man :)

First Thinks for First Day...

There are words which can change life of people. I encountered mine 4 years ago. My teacher said that : ” two watermelon aren’t carried on one arm.” Have you heard it ever I don’t know. this time is first for me and I think about it for a long time. Initially it is felt like funny but really it is hard to practice. But I am 14 and I didn’t have anything to lose. “Let’s try” said myself. You don’t know which one is better without trying, right? Even if I cannot trust myself in a lot of issue, I believe that I’ll make good jobs. And in my opinion some passion is food of the good jobs. So my decision wasn’t false. I’ve tasted success and social life. I’ve lived my sadness and happiness seperately and fully.I’ve started to believe that “everything is in your mind”To arrive your target, listen the voice of your conscience and search the “perfect” then you’ll get home  And this is one of my words, though” Le éffort ést ma forcé ” (if I make an effort, I’ll get in return for )
